Nigerian Army kill 43 ISWAP fighters, destroy gun trucks & recover weapons

The terrorist organization identified as the Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP) is on the verge of collapse as the Nigerian soldiers killed Forty-Three (43) ISWAP insurgents in the Northeast of Nigeria.



The successful operation was in strong collaboration with the Multinational Joint Taskforce (MNJTF) Sector 4 Diffa in the Niger Republic.

The operation was carried out around the Lake Chad region as the Nigerian soldiers came in contact with the deadly terrorist organization identified as the Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP), killing at least Forty-Three (43) ISWAP members and capturing one ISWAP fighter in the process.

The captured fighter of the Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP), is suspected to be their leader during the intense operation carried out by the Nigerian soldiers alongside the gallant Multinational Joint Taskforce (MNJTF) Sector 4 Diffa in the Niger Republic.

Scores of the Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP) were also injured in the massive operation carried out in Northeast Nigeria at the Lake Chad region.


The attack carried out by the Nigerian soldiers in collaboration with the Multinational Joint Taskforce (MNJTF) led to the recovery of sophisticated weapons, live ammunition, and the destruction of four (4) gun trucks from the Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP) in the Lake Chad region.
The terrorist organizations Identified as the Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP) and Boko Haram have suffered great loss and setbacks from the Nigerian military following its intensified operation against insurgency in the Northeast of Nigeria.

Thanks to the newly acquired fighter jets and armored vehicles, the fight against insurgency has been in the favor of the Nigerian Army and its counterparts identified as the Nigerian Air force whose close collaboration has brought the military close to ending the prevailing insurgency by the Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP) and Boko Haram group.
